Re: Organization idea
I love how this looks! I was just wondering if the magazine file folder boxes hold up well?? I've heard all too often that they're too flimsy or they fall apart too easily. Have you ladies found some sturdy ones? Thanks!

I don't know if you're anywhere near Dollar Tree, but that's where I buy mine. They're 20 for $1. The quality may not be quite as high as Staples, or another office store, but they get the job done! HTH!

Which Bible do I use for the memory work in BLHFHG?
Hi, ladies! I'm working on getting all organized for BLHFHG, and I'm writing the spelling words and bible verses out on index cards now, so I will have them ready when I need them. I am wondering which translation is recommended for the memory work? I see that Carrie says to use the KJV or the NIV f...

Does anyone have a supply list for BLHFHG?
Hi, ladies! I'm wondering if any of you may have a supply list for Beyond Little Hearts? I tried searching through past posts, but didn't see anything specifically for BLHFHG. Also, I'm looking for ideas for saving and organizing their work. I think it was last week or the week before, there were su...

Is it ok to use an older edition of a book for BLHFHG?
I had already purchased "Boys and Girls of Colonial Days" last year at a used homeschool book sale, but I see the one being used for BLHFHG is a newer edition. Should I order the new one, or will it be ok to use the older one? I also have the same question for some of the readers. I find books from ...

Is copywork what our dc use for handwriting in BLHFHG?
Hi, ladies! I'll be starting BLHFHG with my ds soon, but as I was looking through all the materials, I noticed that handwriting wasn't listed in the curriculum. When looking at the sample lesson in the catalog, I read that poems are used for copywork. I just want to be sure that I'm not missing some...

However, I purchased LHTH last year for my 4-year old son, and life threw some curveballs (got very busy with my 93-year old grandmother - need I say more?? :D ) We started LHTH, but did...

Julie, can you please tell me more about Masterbooks? I googled it and checked a couple of sites that I purchase books from, and I couldn't find them.

APOLOGIA ELEMENTARY SCIENCE
Hi, ladies! I know Carrie is on vacation right now, so I'll check with her when she gets home, but I have heard really good things about the Apologia Astronomy, Botany, and Zoology, and I think that Carrie told someone it would be overkill on science to add one of these books into the regular schedu...
