Cleaning, going to town, fun things with Friends....whatever needs to be done, sometimes it is school catch up. It really is great to have the extra day.

My oldest took over reading story time to himself in Preparing. He was ready and could handle the reading level. I waited longer with my second. It was more out of necessity, I would have waited longer if I wasn't running 4 guides.

I have been trying to make a decision as to which way to take with my oldest son on Algebra. We finished 6B, he did not excel but he did not struggle. Some was harder than others. I printed all the forms at the beginning of the year. The other option is having your older students making the copies.

Why skip a guide? There are only 140 days per guide. You could do more than 1 guide a year, doing some 5 day weeks or more than 35 weeks of school. This is if you want to finish all 5 guides. I have not used above Rev2Rev, we start MTMM in a few weeks. But my experience with HOD is each guide grows ...
