I know in 1A we had to place 4 triangles on shapes but not just 2 lines ... they threw us way off with that one.

Thanks again!

Re: Daughter jealous of friends

I thought at a young age Miss Mason recommends not correcting those right away and later that week you can use that for grammar practice, correcting the mistakes? Maybe a dictionary on hand?

Re: IS ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH CLICK'N READ PHONICS?

We bought an access to clicknkids a few years ago ... it's good when you need to mix things up...but for my son he can't do phonics everyday on the computer, he starts complaining of wrist pain from so much mouse usage.

Re: Singapore concern in books 1A&B then beyond them

I saw this question over at hsreview as well but I really like the info in this discussion http://www.heartofdakota.com/board3/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=1596 reading that is what helped me take the plunge and just order 1a/1b as I was just going to print corresponding pages from a different math curricula...

I'm not too chatty this week. We are getting into A Lion to Guard Us though and enjoyed the stair step exercise and the 7 question guess what's in the bag game.

Re: Beyond question.......

On the record we're grade 2 and DS turns 7 later this week....but I refer to this for us as Year 1.5 a little past first but not quite ready for second ... at least until all 34 weeks of Beyond are complete.

anxiously awaiting others using Beyond to chime in on the age of their child while using.

Re: OT- Scheduling your life-can you fix mine Hehehe!

I like routines more than a set time schedule since every day is different around here. I like your idea of a wheel chart --very creative! I get lots of ideas from myblessedhome.blogspot.com and flylady ...like I said I can't do the rigid set in stone by the clock thing but a general flow of the day...
