What a beautiful post!! That just gave me chills! Isn't it amazing what the Lord can do for us when we just put our faith in him?

Re: SINGAPORE MATH 1A/1B
The way it's explained in the catalog and the LHFHG manual if you're using the alternate schedule for math that uses 1A/1B with LHFHG you either need to order Beyond.... or get the 1A/1B textbooks along with the workbooks. The activities that are scheduled in the LHFHG teacher manual go with Earlybi...

Re: Anyone in Texas??
I am! We're actually going to San Antonio in a few weeks. There are quite a few of us from Texas on here. There was a thread a while back.... I'd look but all 3 kids are asleep so I'm going to take advantage and go to sleep too!

Re: Getting cold feet about using HOD
I'm only using LHFHG, but if we don't get one of the activities, the box under the history box, done for the day (which doesn't happen often, but has happened), we just skip it. I tried going back for it one time, but it just isn't worth the hassle. We don't skip things often though, because they're...

Re: Audio Books Question
Checking your library is a fabulous idea. Our library has a service where we can download audio books from home. You only get to keep them for 2 weeks, but it has been a really great service for us. My children have enjoyed listening to the books. Since we're doing it this way we haven't had the boo...

Re: My TM has made it home
Yea!!!!!!!!! I know that was so scary! I'm glad you found it!!! I'm going right now to put my name and number in mine. We don't use ours often when we're out and about, and when we do I usually copy the page I'm using for the day so I don't have to bring the entire book, but it could happen!

Re: Week In Review 8-1-08
You ladies are making me want to take more pictures! What fun everyone had this week! This week we finished up Unit 10. The kids loved playing the game where they were Queen Esther. C actually followed the rules and had a blast. D spun up and down the hall, and he had a blast too! I think C's ...

Re: The Reading Lesson....
We had that same problem with RME. I took a break. We played with the foam bath letters. That's a lot of fun. I'd have her fish for letters with a scoop or container of some sort and then we would make up words, some nonsense and some real. We would start with "mop" for example, and then it might ch...
