One thing I did, Kirstin, was to look up various children's Bibles (like the 2 choices offered with Beyond, for instance) on Amazon.com or Christianbook.com where you can often look inside the book and get a feel for what the text and pictures are like. Hope that helps!

I tried to search for "spelling" but it said it was too common of a word.... :) I was going to do MFW for this year, and they recommend Rod & Staff's Spelling by Sound & Structure..... Hi there! I'm brand new to the HOD boards.

I've been waffling between WinterPromise and Heart of Dakota....now I'm leaning hard toward HOD. I'm wondering if any of you have opinions or experience or thoughts about both/either.
