I just received my catalog. I have never been in a bible study that covered praying, I just pray-speak to God. Yet the Missions to Modern Marvels section G lists "pray using the four parts of prayer". Do you all know anymore about this? What book or resource will tell me more about this? :?:

I know the younger levels include a Bible in the book packages. After that, are there recommended Bibles for each new level? I am trying to find a New King James Bible for a junior high school boy.

Don't schedule every subject every day. Some can be studied two or three times per week. Some can be covered in ten or fifteen minutes at a time. Your child will retain more with small daily exposure than one long block of time.

Hello ladies,
I am finishing up Rod & Staff 2 with a soon to be 10 year old. For next year, should I jump to Rod & Staff 4, skipping level 3 ? Or should I do 3, omitting the review lessons ? How do I get on track & what lessons can be omitted ?

Is "Victor Journey Through the Bible" being considered for any future years ? It looks interesting, I'm hoping it's used.

We are doing Bigger Hearts for His Glory, using the spelling lists. When I get to dictation, do I point to the dictation passage as I read it to my son, or should I be copying it ahead of time on something ? Thanks for sharing your experiences with this.
